Benefits of Bicycling

Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh and the Green Triangle are producing a video with Metro TV that will chronicle the work of the Green Triangle. We are looking for bicyclists to be involved in taping a segment highlighting the new bike rack that was installed in the public parking lot at Frankfort Avenue and N. Keats (next to The Irish Rover). If you are interested in being involved, please arrive on your bike at 4:30 on Friday, February 17^th for the taping. The event will last 15-30 minutes.  Please contact Katie Holmes if you would like to participate or with questions.

Our new friends (Bill, Mette and baby Wynne) that just moved from Manhattan have found a permanent home off Frankfort Avenue. Help move them by bike on Saturday, February 4!

***UPDATES!***

In conjunction with the Moving Planet event, we will be embarking on a tour of Louisville's urban gardens this Saturday!

We will start meeting up between NOON and 1:00 p.m. at Jefferson Square Park (6th and Jefferson), with some yummy samples provided by Soup Bycycle. We will start the tour as close to 1:00 as possible.

What a great turnout of bicycle advocates for today's Hike, Bike and Paddle! Riding with such a variety of bikes and citizens solidified my belief that bicycling is a great unifier.
