iMatter March - this Saturday! (3/31/12)

Saturday will be a busy day, we know. But for those of you interested in something other than basketball, you may want to consider supporting this rally.

The high school kids who make up Our Earth Now have been working for months on this. They have shown an amazing amount of dedication and organization. We as a community should be quite proud of these young people!

MOVIE! Bicycle Dreams: Monday, March 12 7:00 p.m. at Village 8

Tickets will be $11 in advance and $15 at the door the night of the show. To purchase advance tickets, order online here. Bicycling for Louisville will get a portion of the proceeds from this event!

Calling Bicyclists!

Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh and the Green Triangle are producing a video with Metro TV that will chronicle the work of the Green Triangle. We are looking for bicyclists to be involved in taping a segment highlighting the new bike rack that was installed in the public parking lot at Frankfort Avenue and N. Keats (next to The Irish Rover). If you are interested in being involved, please arrive on your bike at 4:30 on Friday, February 17th for the taping. From our friend Beth:

"I'm looking for couples to pose on, or around their bicycles (fixies, tall, tandem, mountain, cruiser, penny-farthing, sociable, etc.) and kiss. Sexual orientation does not matter either."

If you are interested, call Beth at 502-938-9047 or e-mail her at betherfly[at]gmail[dot]com. Ooh la la!
